Come to Dhaka. How can we make cities as dense as Dhaka, a better place to live for its residents?

Horrible ideas to built this project. Bad for environment and local fishermen will lose their jobs.

What is the economic-value of the residents of penang.? = discount tourists and foreigners. = tourism numbers are never dependable, same goes for F&B.

The prototype is nice. Ya, just a bait. Same like how the prototypes from Adaman Island, The Light city and many... the true will never be the same.

No matter the place, people make the place what it is and what it is not. I'm glad this architecture firm is mindful of that.

Here, witnessing how architecture becomes marketing forevermore... The "big details" concept is but the branding of two common spaces, nothing more. Just to be clear, I'm not judging on the imagery or the project itself but on the copy of the message. Marketing works indeed. Hopefully this won't be as void and manipulative.
첫 느낌이 오버디자인이 들어간~~~, 한국현실적인 문제때문에 한계속에서 나온 고육지책느낌이네요

For considerable time, Bridge design was the preserve of Civil / Structural Engineers. The name that comes to mind, is the legendary Isambard Kingdom Brunel. In recent years, renowned Architects: the late Zaha Hadid, Santiago Calatrava, Norman Foster have conceived and built great bridges. The Erasmus Bridge is an elegent landmark putting Rotterdam on the map. Thanks to Ben van Berkeley and associates for coming up with this concrete and steel icon. Looking to more bridge designs from UNStudio. Sam. Ex Harvey Bufe Partnership, Chartered Architects.

Pretty sickening to see such dirty propaganda for the unaware. Lots to say about it. My first thoughts .... Just don’t be misled. Right now we have a beautiful natural environment and with #PenangSouthIsland, we are destroying it at a fast rate, ruining by developers & pocketician!!

Can the future of Penang and ppl be sustainable for having its so-called 'beautiful natural environment'? Think about this, how much of brain drain social issue do you like to continue to see?

It's always great to see UNS's work, so inspiring and useful to see how many different elements of approach can be combined in order to get good architecture.

Very nice concept! But building offshore won't affect the local biodiversity? Especially for islands that witnesses high tides or regarding the sea rise level that will occur somehow in the future. Anyway, that's really amazing from your office! Keep the great work
