I know the sound you're talking about. The sound of a bomber airplane coming through. I'm the same way. I wanted to get the big shot longs for my bike, but... Vance n Hines didn't come through for that type of exhaust. So I figured I'm out of my comfort zone, and to my surprise, Cobra 909 came in clutch.

So there are plastic caps covering the holes where the passenger peg mounts go. I bought the mounts and pegs from Harley

That's a beautiful bike, the very best of luck with it. Me personally I like the look of the RK standard which is discontunied for 2023. Are there accessories that can make the special resemble the standard such as passing lamps and windscreen etc?

i have a 2020 slim (denim). nice bike. you should put some BASINI fishtails on it. it will change everything about your ride! your clutch / brake levers are dope!

I'm sure someone has told you but Tab Performance mufflers with Zombie baffles for Road Kings, Street Glides cannot be beat !! Unbelievable roar on those puppies. If you get tired of the Vance and Hines.

Love the bike ! I have a 13 Softail Slim...put a La Pera seat on it and you can purchase the La Pera passenger seat and back rest as well. Keeps that low profile and your wife can still ride. Not sure how to put a pic up on this comment section or I'd show you.

Nice mods, bike's looking clean. Have the badge custom-painted in the tank, there are shops that do great job w/ custom paint.... looks better but may be expensive.

Looks biker cool, just picked up a 2015 slim about a month ago. Got the Vance and Hines straight shorty's with a high flow air cleaner and a tuner. Next step is lowering the rear, been looking into a kit where you don't have to remove the shocks. You probably have the mono under the seat.

Man I've only found 2 other people with the same pipes on KZbin I've had them since February on mu road king they idle around 94 decibels they set off car alarms an have a nice muscle car sound I have the 4.0 ones an my Road king is a TC 88 with S&S 510g cams and an intake so its pretty loud.

Well the Harley dealer was offering me more than what I owed on the bike so I had equity on the slim and I wanted a bigger Bike for the long trips. It was so worth it

Nice bike, axle covers and brake lever looks Arlen Ness. If you haven't purchased the cam yet you might wanna research Zippers 468 cam. I put one in my 2019 107 and she dyno'd 104 hp and 115 torque. Cool bike, I subscribed, keep the video coming when you can. Kudos from South Texas.

I had the saddlemen solo LS, rode that to Kentucky it was pretty good. Had to stop like every hour and half like normal long trips

I also feel the same way you do brother.. luv the look, but the sound isn’t the same as the advertised video.. I called Penn Steel World myself not westendmotorsprts and they told me the black bike in the video they advertised has a cam. Hope this helps.. I have a 2021 Road Glide Special and I’m just waiting for a stage 2 kit with cam.. hoping it gets the sound I want like on the video they put out.. peace ✌️ from California

Yea if you read my comments it looks like some tool bag from west end motorsport commented and said I didn’t do my research, even though I reached out to west end and commented asking what else the bike has that they used to display the pipes. Do you have stock headers or aftermarket? I feel like that’ll make a difference.

@@KeepHarelying . I have stocks.. I live in California (originally from Louisville KY) which the rules about emissions out here are total bullshit & Is absolutely ridiculous.. I have a 2021 Road Glide Special that I cannot put a cam into it until California and Harley Davidson come to some kinda agreement.. about emissions & also tons of “loud pipe” ordinances out here.(bunch of pussies!) lol.. so I hear that putting in a stage 2 with cam will give me the sound I want.. hope this helps..

@@jstovall72. I called WestendMotorsports and asked them what they had in “Mikes bike”.. that’s the bike in the video. They told me what to get and did and it sounds great. I still have to have it tuned next week, which will make it sound even deeper and throatier.. I had to put a S&S 365 CAM, new gloss black pushrods, headers.. to get that sound like the video. U can call them and ask them what exactly they have in “mikes bike” but so far I luv my pipes.. hope this helps
