What’s the different in sound between this and the contemporary 500/1?

Hello Jörn I hope you are doing well I came across your channel because of the red spector euro classic I am really interested in this bass by the way I am in Germany as well - Berlin Unfortunately I am not in Cologne to try in person at Music Store as you did...

Go to Thomann, they are closer to Berlin. Check out their webpage, they have Euro Classics. Or go to Zoundhouse in Dresden. They have a Spector EuroBolt, 4 String Inferno Red Gloss on their webpage and in stock, 02. Sept. 2024.

this new batch of Bantams seem to have a flame finish instead of a quilted maple finish from the first generation.

Valdra la pena cambiar mi rumble 500 por el markbass mb58r cmd 102 pure ?
@Toontablemusic4 ай бұрын
Sorry, I did not noticed the "CMD" in your question. In my opinion the mb58r cmd 102 pure is much better built quality. If I remeber right, the Rumble has a nice open sound, but is not as precise and fast as the Markbass. I hope that will help.

For less than $1,000, the Yamaha TRBX604 is a bass guitar that performs better than over $1,000 other brand's basses. I believe it is made in Indonesia, but the quality of its craftsmanship is superb.

Is it the better sound than traditional II 70s Jazz Bass?
@Toontablemusic5 ай бұрын
I never tried one, sorry. The G-string on this one was a bit too nasal for me. Maybe other strings would help. The G-String often is a bit difficult.

How does it measure up against other j basses youve played?
@Toontablemusic8 ай бұрын
For me the neck felt very comfortable. Good lacquer, not sticky. I have small hands and it was easy to play. Perhaps this 70s neckshape made it great. The weight felt good, lighter than most Jays I've played but that could be subjective. I haven't played around with the amp's EQ, but I think there are some other very usable sounds hidden in this bass.

I switched from a Geddy Lee signature to this exact one and like it more. The neck is a little thicker towards the higher frets compared to the geddy but I like the sound and feel much better. It's also nice and light

How is the quality of these bass? Strings are high or low above the fretboard?
@Toontablemusic9 ай бұрын
Meanwhile the quality of instruments even in the lower pricerange is really good, I think. The stringsetting was a little high for me, but hey, it is ajustable. New strings and a lower stringheight would make this bass fast and comfy for me. I hope the answer helps.
