The onfield refs get plenty of stick and most of the time it's justified but the linesmen get off absolutely scot-free. They are there to assist the referee with onfield decisions such as the blatant foul on Bowen. They're not there just to award a throw-in and they can't get them right half the time. I don't see the point of them anymore.

Gave The Ball Away Too Many Times That Cost Us The Game
@StivGatorsСағат бұрын
Only saw the last half hour on telly but we 'were' sitting back and inviting them on more than I was comfortable with, though going by yourself, Stel, and Hammers Chat, that wasn't reflective of the whole game, which is good enough for me. There was certainly more energy there. I have faith in Potter and am glad we've got him.

The constant fouling of Bowen is one of the biggest issues in the game. VAR ineptitude is the other.

I 100% agree about Kudus- Supporters knocking him are clueless and don't understand football- he is class and we would struggle without him-I have been so proud of the team and the shape of the side with so many players out.

Hi Gaz my opinion is exactly the same as yours …we will be formidable with the players we have now when they are fit … we have a bit of time between now and the Brentford game we are going to beat them in a gd fashion I feel
@philmcdonald79562 сағат бұрын
You said it Gaz. That was an impressive performance. When will 'pundits' learn that 'the West Ham way' is 100% effort and commitment. Kudus was being treble marked for large parts of the game. Robbed again by incompetent officials, we were worth a draw at least. My favourite moment apart from Bowen's goal was Cress' cheeky free kick. COYI

Was a good entertaining game, walked away pretty happy, always want a score line win but sometimes little wins come from just watching your team put in a shift & being competitive, seeing fans, players & manager all as one, seeing academy players on the pitch. We’ve got a really good coach here, we need to trust & back him and hopefully he’s here for the foreseeable. COYI
@anthonylake75812 сағат бұрын
The ref should have given a free kick for the foul on JB shortly before Chelsea's equaliser. VAR was right: Cucurella was onside, because the ball didn't touch the other Chelsea defender before it came to him. We deserved to win the game. Bad refereeing and bad luck cost us.

Totally agree with your opinions, you were robbed by a crap referee and Var. Chelsea must be the most overrated teams in the top half. They always commit niggly fouls and always seem to ge away with it. I am a Forest fan and used to seeing crap referees and decisions (Everton 3 penalties not given last season) they just seem to want us to get on with it, say anything about it and they will fine you. Good luck for the rest of the season. Best team in London. ❤❤

This is why I despise Chelsea so much Gary, but enough said about that, over all Gar, based on you in person report, things are A-O-K for West Ham and are gonna improve, you may know, I’m thrilled about JWP coming back, I love Cressy, but his one saving grace at this point in his taking of sets has escaped him. Hopefully, with Todibo, Summerville, Paqueta, and JWP back, and if Ferguson can chip in? I have hope! COYI⚒️

I must say Gary, since Potter has come into the club I feel animated during the games. Under Moyes and Loppy I had a hard time to be involved with the game. At last we are beginning to play as a team and fully motivated with tactics that work. At last no more dull boring football with narcissistic coaching. All hail G Potter as he has brought a bit of sunshine into my life again! 👍😀😀😀⚒⚒⚒

The standard of refereeing is one of the reasons I stopped going. I said paying them more would make no difference, and they've gotten worse since. They clearly favour certain teams, and VAR is a complete waste of time. I thought the players deserved something from the game

Though I get zero credit for my part in building that channel over 3.5 long years and 1200+ hours of my life, making shows every bloody week until 6 months ago (12.4k subs when I left), I now feel it is so distant from anything I believe in. It has turned into an ego trip for someone who thinks his opinion sets the narrative for all fans. It doesn’t. All channels know how to get views, but one thing I refuse to do is bullshit for views. I’d rather grow slowly over time and keep viewers who know we are being genuine.

@Burrdmizzle3 сағат бұрын
The problem with Kudus is the pressure and the desperation to score. Also he does extra with complicating the pass to a level where his team mates are not able to read those skillful passes and it makes him look bad. Solution: 1.Simplify things for the time being till we have more options or better players. 2. Accept your role or he has to be given a role as a decoy. All the teams at this point have read your play and for now you'll always be a target. Clear your mind, switch it up keep it simple pass it up early and just try to be clinical as much as you can. He'll come good. He's a Ghanaian we know and have followed his journey he's a natural born talent. He's just having a rough patch following events that occured in this season he should find a way to come out of that funk!
@GaryKillington2 сағат бұрын
He will come good I agree, of course he will. You do not lose class, he has just lost a bit of confidence.

Andy Irving really impressed me. Only way it could have been a better 1st start is if his long shot went in! Lots of green shoots and things to get positive about. I thought we looked the better team for large chunks of the game. Rent boys needed the ref to dig them out of the shit. Top 4? Theyre having a laugh

I have now adopted Guilherme as my own. The term “shit off a shovel” was made for him, he is rapid. Showed some good ability last night, which annoys me because the owners have been trying their hardest to flog him just because of Tim

Great review thanks Gary. Andy Irving’s interview brought tears to my eyes, what a lovely guy who loves our club and his girlfriend. I too can’t understand the Kudus bashers, he was really good. We deserved something from that game. Both of their goals were dodgey. Potter also did a great job. I was very proud of our team. Totally different performance from previous 2 managers and the fans were amazing well done guys you sounded brilliant
