31:49 that’s one big mess and nonsense- this painter wants to make money on workshops yet wants to hide her style- achieved - doesn’t want to show her brushwork- and such!!!

Another one- where the painter blocks the canvas!!! Why do people actually spend so much money and time to attend these workshops!!! Checkout- paint with Kevin- and his website for workshops WTH is this here!!! These painters do not know how to teach painting at all- and block the canvas- the people are sitting there and what looking at her head and back!!’

Scott Hamill makes money from naive ladies who have a dream and hope- using his name!! Without actually teaching anything!!! Shameful

20:16 and all throughout HES blocking the canvas!!! WTH! And the people aren’t saying anything- And he’s one of those “flickers” who hold the brush and flick it- lol

This is what’s wrong with workshops as such- the audience cannot see the canvas up close or at all- along with the brushwork- And the painters talk about other things while painting!!! 0:49 as a beginner and or one who wants to learn here- the painter is brushing in- and not talking about the context- instead he’s talking about a book and such- the brain competes as what to listen to- focus on and becomes frustrating- would you want to be sitting at a Chemistry lecture- and the instructor is going over chemical calculations- writing them on board while ranting about- a famous chemist!! Same with playing music during lectures- lessons- People spend so much money- on these workshops- and painters have become like car salesman- promotions on this and that- and many are deceptive- they’ll paint- and nonchalantly keep their brushwork from being known- recognized- and people don’t notice - nor understand it’s being done- People- find a subject that interests you- obtain few books- Carlson landscape- Edgar Paynes composition- Alla Prima- and Helen Van Wyk on color- Practice with the mindset your writing on canvas using paint to create shapes- to tell your story- and the goal is to get to the point where you’ve established your “signature brushstrokes “ remember this- no one can paint the same way- nor mix color the same way- Many painters who hold these expensive workshops and sell overly expensive DVDs are just making money!!! It is your own signature brushstrokes and your ability to see and mix colors that will make your work stand out- or not- Stop spending time and getting mixed up in attending many workshops- your wasting time where you could be developing your signature brushstrokes- 15:50 oh all those senior ladies- with a wish and a dream- spending money and wasting their valuable time!!! From this time stamp- this painter has not provided one interesting information about painting- the intro he talks about some painter and the plot- he died- great too tell these ladies this! Their there to gain information about Blocking in- brushwork- manipulation of your brush- mark making - and so on- Well he throws in- a tad about the distance- I’m sure these ladies know about- They want to know- about brushwork to form illusion of moving water!!! Waves- creating the splash- surface waves- froth- and so on- And this composition- is not balanced too many rocks going on/ Why not create an interesting wave with surface waves (and explain to them- how to create surface waves- the main wave- how to give illusion of moving water- there’s no need for rocks as such- A painter who wants to paint the ocean- must understand the anatomy of waves- And how to manipulate brushstrokes- how to create a color scheme- how to use the atmosphere color with the main colors of objects- to create harmony- And so much more This guy hasn’t explained nothing!!! Ladies- stay home and study - stop wasting money on these workshops!!! They’ll never reveal their signature brushwork nor do many know of the elements to teach- There’s a difference watching one paint and listening while one paints to teach!!!
