They are on approved immediately ever... Each device/medicine has stages of clinical trials it has to go through. All of this is on FDA site and FDA calendars. You need to play the FDA approvals, stage changes etc until the approval or disapproval.

Initially, I didn't think it would make a big impact, however, looking back, The boycott has tarnished it's branding so, YES. It did have impact on their revenue loss... There are other things into play as well such as market saturation that caused their revenue per store to decline.
