He got disabled vet vibes. You know at a100% disabled a vet can get about 4K a month. Thats untaxed. You can also work full time and earn as much money as you want while being disabled? Crazy.

Thats an apples vs oranges comnparison there. The better comparison is the GT3. Anyone in their right mind would pick the Porsche but the best bang for the buck is the Vette, by far....and the Vette has increased their build quality by leaps and bounds. I sold my Turbo S and getting back into a car, I decided to go for the berst bang for the buck.

I cross shopped the Z06, 911 Turbo S, and BMW M8. I ultimately chose a 991.2 Turbo S cabriolet. For the money, the Z06 is an amazing machine. I'm not a fan of the back end. The M8 is a big boat and a relaxed experience. The 911 felt just right to me. It can be driven slow and comfortable, or stretch-your-face back spirited driving. The 991.1 GTS is a sweet ride but as you said, not really a fair comparison. A 911 turbo/s would be more analogous, though at a much steeper price. Keep both.

The video is great, thank you! 👍 The car lacks 1 feature that takes away everything away: no manual mode. Give it a shift or paddle and it's the best luxury coupe. Right now, anything with a manual mode is, imho, superior to this

This was a great video I was think about getting a older Porsche 2017 or C8 there are both pro and can to each and its not just about what will hold value longer but what you think you will drive more.

It doesn't matter if it is $300K or less because I can afford a $300K car and I can drive it with ease knowing it was properly engineered and designed properly instead of the hot mess GM came up with. Sure, the Z06 can be had for $129K, which is still major money but why would you put up with 2nd grade design at that 6 figure price level??!!! Oh, it's about the power! OK, so moonshine is better than vintage wine then - right??!!!😂😂😂

Cool Video. I have a 2024 Z06 so you have stated a few boo-boos. First of all, the 2024 does not have Active Cruise Control. Also, you do not have to be in Track to get the burble. In sport or Zmode, you can get the burble and you can use the paddle shifters to keep the car at a boil. It will stay in the selected gear all the way to redline unless you manually shift. A green gear will come on. Please mention that after looking it up in your owner's manual. Great well done video!

Great video. Learned a lot. I've been trying to decide between buying another 911 (992.1) or another Corvette. Thinking about passenger comfort (wifey), luggage storage options, etc., I think I will go with the 911 again.

If you travel in autobahn..like 140-160km speed (100mph) you get 160km range (100mile) for real..not 500km (300mile) ! Porsche overpriced ev is so stupid..if you drive performance and fast your battery dies in 30 minutes😂😂😂😂😂 what a fail

Damn good interview to see black men like myself enjoying these wonderful cars. I own a Porsche 911 Turbo for 20 years and the corvette z06 is my mext car period. I was sold after it won the Tour De France Monico 24 hour race. I see a legendary car here. USA kick ass! The z06 should had been a manual stick like my Porsche.

Great video! Love your car. The best all around 911 is the 991.1 GTS. This is the one that puts it all together in one package. Looks, power, driving dynamics, and reliability. Yes, the 2015 911 has been deemed the most reliable 911 by experts. A future collectable classic that is meant to be driven...

They've been making the Corvette for almost 70 years BEFORE the C8 came along, .. and you've never been able to see the engine! Don't see what the big deal is!!? ... I own the C8 HTC and have never once worried about being able to see the engine! ... Really enjoy the Hartop Convertible!

Went from 996 to 997 to 991 and back to 997. 991 gave me Audi RS4 vibes. Great car but not what I want from a 911.

I too had a 991.1GTS. Loved it. But the want for a 991.2 GT3 was too great and so I changed. I have to say, the 991.2 GT3 is on another level again. It has the naturally aspirated 4.0, and dynamics that would allow the best of drivers to feel full filled. And the 991.2 GT3 is a pretty looking thing, much more so than the later 992 variants. If you can, I'd urge you to have a test drive of the 991.2 GT3, I don't think you'd regret it.

Owner should look into aftermarket extended front fender flares. Carbon ceramic brakes… are you not supposed to follow a break-in procedure? GM Calls Burnishing in Owner's Manual. I am 6’5” tall, and had similar headroom issue. I found there is more headroom in the coupe vs the convertible. I also found that there is more headroom (1”+) in the 2024 for some reason.
