@fulonimationstudios2408 all of your videos I have seen and enjoyed them all you certainly can't bore me with your videos because they are all great to see I don't believe anyone can be bored from watching and learning from your wisdom of animating dinosaurs dragons and other animals and etc I also am glad that you know all songs and pieces of music belong to their rightful owners I too am a musician but I learn lots of songs lots and I am delighted to see such talent such skills and such patience that goes into each and every one of your videos I guess what I am saying is that I very much appreciate your content through and through thanks for reading my comment in which I have posted.

I don't know if you'll reply to this, but I'll ask anyway. When the live action HTTYD comes out, do you think you'll be using that model of night fury from now on? The only real difference I've seen is that LA Toothless has backward bending hind legs. Which ngl, I'm pretty satisfied about, 3d Toothless having legs that bend like ours irked me a little bit.

I had planned on making a realistic Night Fury model, but those plans have been postponed for now. And if I do end up finishing that eventually, I'm not sure if I'll make it the same as the actual live action version or make it more original. I agree about the legs - that look also makes him look more dragon-like, with more noticeable joints, and less cartoony to me.

This can automatically be done by LIGHTLY weigh painting the surrounding eyelids to the eye bone, when the eye bone moves, so will the eye lids :D

Very true! I usually prefer to animate the eyelid bones manually, to have a bit more control over the end result, though.
