Oh, sorry. The prices at the time ranged between Ghc1, 300 and 2000 depending on the size and breed of the cattle. The price of cattle can increase to 50% and sometimes 100% within a year. The benefits are that, it is more profitable than saving your money at the bank. In personal finance, that is if you want to create wealth, we consider anything that brings money into your pocket as an asset and whatever takes money out of your pocket as a liability. Example, if your house is for rental purposes, it's an asset but if it is for residential, it's a liability. If you buy a land because you want it to appreciate in value and sell, it's an asset. However, if you want to use it to build for residential purpose it's a liability. So before you consider an item as an asset or a liability ask yourself , will it bring money or take money out of my pocket?

It will depend on the method of feeding. For instance, if you will be using a portion of the land for gracing then it will require only few cattle to occupy there. However, if they will graze outside your land it can take many. Assuming every ranch takes 100 cattle, you can have about four ranches giving at least 400 hundred cattle on your land.
