thank you so much for the candor and clarity of this presentation. I appreciate how you have made it so direct and straight-forward for non-Indigenous people to step up and make things right.

Andy Callicum once told me. Our people are in a form of post traumatic stress. Direct result from the loss of the Chief structure Governing our people from the loss of our culture because of boarding school the conversion to Christianity and the loss of close connection to our God. Alcoholism addiction sexual abuse domestic violence He said we are now healing and adapting. The resilience of the people is a testimony of thier strength. He'd talk about the importance of sobriety potlatching and feasting. He'd say keep the drums rolling that Our Culture is Recovery period. Much to say many Great Memories with my Most respected Elders. Excellent project for the educational community. Much gratitude for the folks responsible.

Hello! I am wanting to share this video with my women's group students. I am a LMHC and ethnobotanist that has a minor in Native American studies. I try to be a good ally to First Nations and Native American community's by sharing what I can (with permission of course) that is NOT from me (white woman) but from different Peoples. Is this okay to share? Thank you for these teachings...I am really honored to have listened to this with my daughter (11yo).

With all due respect to Mrs. Everson, zi must , again respectfully, take issue with her statement regarding US "non inclusiveness", As an American, I can affirm that my country is actually very inclusive in that pretty much anyone who wishes to immigrate here is welcome to do so. We only ask that they do this through the proper, legal channels. That isn't a lack of inclusiveness, it's common sense & common practice among sovereign nations worldwide.

Thank you Dr. Voyageur, for sharing your knowledge and isight. I hope that future cultural events can somehow include opportunities for discussion between Indigenous and non-indigenous people about reconciliation and what it means to move us forward.
