I think you're absolutely spot on about ceremony and cocktail hour. Definitely don't last long to do a whole 4-5 hour gig or wedding that you're getting close to max amplitude. Battery drained one time at 4.5 hours and another time at 3.75 hours. Luckily had the power cord nearby. So as a main rig going over 4 hours bumping music def won't last long. But if you're playing average to moderate levels such as at a ceremony or cocktail hour which even then those are only 45mins-1 hour respectively. Then of course they will last far beyond the batteries capability, Again, probably not good for the main overall speakers. Just my experience with them. Hoping it was just a bad battery - but who knows. I have all EV speaker products so was a little baffled and disappointed when I used these Everse 12's at a couple of my DJ gigs.
@DJBrianRodriguesАй бұрын
@@steveg8998 I would never use it as a main but love it for cocktail and ceremony! Great points maybe worth trying another battery.
@KarlLeinsing21 күн бұрын
Weddings and parties would be A/C powered I would think. Battery would be most helpful in power outage or when busking or ceremony outside where there is no power. All of which would not go over 2-3 hours tops IMO. I just bought this for my daughter @musicbyalexia and hoping she likes it for all of the above events that she does.

I have 3 BB 15'S brand new and all have the same issues. LED lights are on but lacks power. I run my mixer directly into the subs then up to tops. Volume is maxed out and does not shake anything in my small house, where as my smaller FBT SUBLINE 112SA 700 Watt RMS shakes my house. I also thought Bassboss was made in america, mine says made in Made in Malaysia. Any tips on getting their true power out? Also, when i take out my top speakers and only have the subs playing they do have sound but when i turn on my tops the bass seems to lack. Is it my gain structure or i have 3 defects?
@DJBrianRodrigues2 ай бұрын
@@esezate1 these subs require quite a bit of power to get them going. Are you using an external mixer? that will give them a little more gain. There are also new updates that raise the input sensitivity so you don’t have to crank them as high on the bassboss website. The Mk1 and Mk2 were built in the USA the MK3s are not. With bassboss recent expansion to be able to keep up with the demand all over the world they had to move to Malaysia. I highly doubt you have 3 defective subwoofers. I mean these little things are animals and so loud. Maybe get on the phone with bassboss? They have amazing customer service and should be able to help.

I’d take BassBoss over RCF easily. RCF has great stuff but like-for-like, they don’t trump BassBoss in sound, output, or quality. No knock on RCF but BassBoss is killing it from the MK2 on to their MK3 line. The competition knows it too… 👊😁

@@gaffle-411 you clearly haven't tried Yorkville Synergy subwoofers. You praise Bassboss so much. Just look at their internal component and hardware, really cheaply made (look for made in China stamp) yorkville Synergies are crazy, obnoxious amount of bass and thump. It will hurt your chest with its thump and depth. Plus, yorkville is entirely canadian-made and will give you lifetime warranty of the box and easy to deal with aftersales.
@gaffle-4112 ай бұрын
@@dynamix_ent1022 I’m familiar with Yorkville subwoofers. Their LS18P and ES18P + 21P models. The 18’s were one-note 70Hz wonders. They have an annoying ability to concentrate all their output at one frequency and one has to “massage” them into playing evenly throughout the entire sub frequency range. They don’t even go low like BassBoss 18’s (30Hz +-3dB) Yes, Yorkville makes workhorse speakers and are reliable but so are BassBoss. BB can play excruciatingly loud and long and rarely limit (in my case). The amps are made by Powersoft and drivers are B&C so what are you talking about? They are best-of components. I have Made in USA BB MK2’s for my main setup (DV12s and SSP118s); only my SV9s are MK3 (made offshore). They still blow away Yorkville in sound + quality. Like for like, brand for brand, there is No contest sir, BassBoss > Yorkville. You’re better off comparing Yorkville’s line to JBL SRX type stuff… BassBoss is next level (ie: RCFTT and Meyer competition).
