If you add to this the cost of baling, about $15 per round bale, then your cost for a 600kg round bale is now $35.30. In Ireland.- Bale, wrap, stack and move (including plastic 4 layers, extra layers additional cost) - €14-€15/bale;

The first time I ever learned of silage was when I started playing Farming Simulator 15 this year (2019-South Africa) :( According to my own inquiries, I found silage only started about 15 years ago!
