Hunting is highly regulated in the US and is used to keep deer populations in check. Without hunting deer populations can double per year. Also hunting requires yearly renewals of licenses and stamps which raise millions of dollars that are used to help the environment. There are also many programs that use deer population management to not only protect the balance of wildlife but also to feed the homeless. Hunters go out and hunt, then turn the meat over to soup kitchens to feed the homeless. Lastly some people actually face the realities of meat and get it themselves instead of being naive and just picking it up wrapped in a grocery store fridge. Quit being an aszh-ole cuz you just sound like a privileged uneducated D-I-K

I am French and I had the privilege to see this band in Paris. What a daring and timeless group! Composed of the Iranian percussionist and clarinetist Arash Khalatbari and the oriental lute player ('oud), the Algerian Mehdi Haddab and of course the American singer and cellist Dierdre Dubois. If you can't translate it, it's because it's not a spoken language. Indeed, Dierdre has developed a song, a language of music, in a way a purely musical language. The meaning of the song lies more in the way Dierdre sings. Ekova by the way comes from "eko" (echo) and "ova" (femininity) This is in my opinion a cruelly underestimated band ! Difficult to classify, it's not world music but music of many worlds. Maybe our era was not inspiring enough for these three magicians from another time. I hope that the nostalgic of this group will recognize themselves
