the church had many acres of property and many of the church folks lived on the property or in that community. The Pulleys lived in a house next to the church and there was a mission center a bit down from the church. My understanding was that he killed her and had her body in the back of the truck which he parked down behind the mission center. He then went to the play in another vehicle and made sure he was seen at the beginning. Then he slipped out, went back to the church, got the truck and drove down the road and threw her body over the bridge and parked the truck like a mile or two down from the church. His plan was to walk back to the church and then drive back to the play to make sure he was seen at the end of the play. As he was walking home it was drizzling and a guy saw him walking and stopped and asked him if he needed a ride. That came out in the trial and I believe that is what y'all were referring to. The prosecutor brought up the fact that Rick didnt know the ending of the play when asked by the Virginia cop and had said that the people in the play "lived happily ever after", when in reality they had died. The prosecutor asked Rick something along the lines of "Is that your idea of happily ever after, when people die?"

I'm very late to the party, but I wanted to say thank you for covering this case. I grew up in Dalton and, although I was only about 8 when this all happened, I've never forgotten it. Even in my elementary school, students were talking about how horrific of a crime it was. A year or so after the crime, a new student came to the school, in my grade. Her last name was Buttram. Immediately upon hearing this, many of the students starts asking her if she was related to the murderers. She admitted that she was and I think I remember she said it had been her aunt and that she only did it because she was on drugs. No mercy was shown to this poor girl and she wasn't at the school very long. I always wondered what became of her.

I think so many of these people that come out saying he's not guilty do it for attention. They want to act like they have the "truth" and want people to listen to them. A guy I knew said that O.J. didn't do it because the way Ron and Nicole were killed was how South American drug cartels killed people to send a message. They always push an alternative narrative, so that they portray themselves as knowing everything. Then there are others that will believe or go along with whatever the last tale they heard said.

My 3rd great grandfather by my mom mom mom side. His daughter Lillan Moore Woolfolk Cowan my 2nd Great Grandmother was married and not there as well as Flo her sister - I have their pics on my wall now and his Civil War stuff - Mom has a lot of artifacts if the family - I have a entire family pic on my wall on the front porch of the house before the murders. This photo I am keeping to myself - it even has the dog who barked that night and the little black girl from the servants who lived on land yet to scared to approach the house. They founded Macon with my cousin Bibb and they owned also Fort Hawkins and part of Indian Mounds as Woolfolk and Cowan street near it is where the first house was of his father Thomas Jefferson Woolfolk Sr. That my 2nd GgMother lived in. She owned most of Hawkinsville Georgia and is why Tom and her sister is buried there.
