I’m looking for suggestions for protocol to help recognize and or nerve repair my inability to recognize a “liquid” diarrhea bowel movement. I had an old growth laminectomy tumor removal performed at my T11 & T12. As a result I have made my own management program to pass stool but I can’t recognize liquids - thus I have frequent surprise accidents when I have diarrhea

It’s great to see such improvement for this young man, with the help of this facility and it’s professional staff. I’m a paraplegic of thirty years, and in-patient rehab was the hardest work I’ve ever done. I had a major regression two months ago and lost the feeling in my lower body and can barely walk at all, but haven’t even called my doctor because my medical group is awful. Now I’m on my own, trying to figure out how to buy a wheelchair, which I haven’t needed for most of the years since my injury. I’ve imagined a rail system and harness in my house, so I can get around safely. I’m numb up to my waist instead of mid-thigh, but since my injury was surgical malpractice and my current doctors are terrible, I have PTSD and just can’t deal with them. I wish I had a place to rehab again.
