You say "best of all, my hair reverts back EVERY TIME". I'm trying to AVOID my hair reverting back. Not sure why you would want your hair to revert back. Am I missing something?
@AmbitiousNysh26 күн бұрын
When I finally have washday after my hair being straightened, my hair reverts back to its natural state (no heat damage); that’s what I meant 🤍

So sad I’m not halfway through this video and I can see her hair is seriously damaged. She says she’s a 4C but during the wash you could see that’s no longer true and what’s with the apologies to the hairdresser for her hair being dirty or difficult to handle her words this is clearly someone who would be happier with chemicals on her hair.
@AmbitiousNysh2 ай бұрын
Thanks for your feedback. My hair has always been a mixture of 4C and softer textures. As far as me apologizing to my hair dresser about my hair being dirty, I’m just an overly polite person. If you noticed, my hairdresser’s reply was “that’s okay, that’s what I’m here for”. Anyway, thanks for watching!

I would LOVE to get this done, but I live in California and Dominican stylist are far and few in between. She must lives in an humidity-free area. As soon as a hot flash hits, mist or humidity hits, it's going to curl RIGHT back up. But it's a very healthy way to take care of 4C hair.
@AmbitiousNysh5 ай бұрын
Hey! I live in Florida so definitely not humidity-free, haha! My trick is to first spray hair sheen so my hair doesn't quench for moisture and then top it off with dry shampoo to lock in and out the moisture. Hope this helps!

I like this because here in LA, I’ve experienced racist ass people that do this.. (Dominican blowouts) and they always turn away people with 4 type hair.. I’ve wanted to find someone who can do it on my hair.. I may need to make a trip out there.. cuz it came out really good.

I’m so sorry to read this. I hope you find someone up there so you don’t have to travel. As of lately, I’ve been doing the blowouts myself and they come out just as good. Lmk if you’d like the info on the tools & products that I use

OK , i am a total begginer and I do not understand shit. First you didn't even explain how to cut the whole dress. How to cut the bottom part to look rounded, how to cut the length and the waist? U need to be more specific, we are not reading ur mind.
@AmbitiousNysh5 ай бұрын
I didn’t explain that because it’s irrelevant as I did not cut the bottom part “rounded”. This DIY is really simple, 1. Measure your waist and waist down, 2. Cut out a rectangle and 3. Sew on the elastic. Nothing really complicated here. Also, there is more info in the comments.

In typical Dominican blow outs the hair is stretched with rollers under a hooded dryer (indirect heat) she did it with a blow dryer directly on the hair which is definitely heat damage and then went in with the flat iron. This technique is no different from what is done in an African American salon. From a licensed cosmetologist who is black and latina.

@Asiacolexo8 ай бұрын
You’re talking about a wash, set and blow out. She got a blow out and press this is also an option in Dominican salons. She’s has fine hair she really did not need a roller set. Dominican salon has options each hair type and density can take different things ❤
