I got the Dyson V12 Submarine last year (the one that can mop). To be honest, the mopping feature is not that good, but overall it's okay. However, I'm still lazy, so I bought a sweeping robot. I don't vacuum or mop the floor anymore...

I’ve had Dysons over the years and they just end up being rubbish. Ten years ago I bought a Henry vacuum and it’s easily the best vacuum ever. If you get them in the USA, give em a go!

I think you may be confusing HE washers with washers with center agitators. I have an HE washer that has a center agitator and it cleans just fine. I think you may mean your preference is for a washer with a center agitator. I don't think the issue is the HE part

I hateeeee my he washer. Clothes area never clean. Towels always stink. Paid extra for larger drum to do bigger loads but anytime we even fill it half way it shakes violent and stops the run. My dryer decides to stop when IT feels that the clothes are dry even when they aren’t. Eff both of them!

All these outraged commentors 😂 my experience has been the same. I moved in with my grandma in her last few years, going from a traditional top loader like in this video to the front load HE washer at my gmas house. The clean was absolutely different! Sometimes I had to wash my clothes 3 times before they were clean. I didn't overuse detergent. The machine is just inferior. It may save water if you don't mind dirty clothes!

If you’re able to buy a Dyson, DO IT. For years I thought it was overhyped and kept buying copycat brands but I finally said F it and got one. Boy, I THOUGHT I was cleaning my carpets well but after using a Dyson I realized how much I wasn’t even picking up. Even on a day to day basis it’s so dang easy and effortless. Especially when I’m cleaning my car AND my cats fur. It sucks ALL their fur up from my couch. Getting a Dyson is hands down my best adult purchase ever.

I've only had one bad experience with HE washers, and its been specifically the Whirpool top loader HE machine. Stay far far away from those. In fact, stay away from any of their sister brands as well. Whirlpool, Maytag, and Amana top loading HE washers are awful by their inherent design. They didnt get the clothes as clean as I like, struggled with balancing issues, and took forever to clean. May have been made in America, but its a peice of junk. I had a Bosch machine before, and current have an LG HE front loader now, and those machines are by far better. If you do go with HE, go with Front loaders. Most, if not all top loader models are garbage.

Professional cleaners, hotels, hospitals, etc all only use HE front loaders. A tiny amount of chemistry and physics knowledge will tell you those clean best. Also the user has to use the machine properly.
