They don’t make it like they used to, maybe I’m just getting old but damn the new games put Tom Clancy’s legacy in the dirt it’s a shame Ubisoft has turned garbage. I love the ghost recon series, I miss these games so much, they were apart of my childhood of gaming growing up.

I loved my DS Endwar and was frankly really disappointed the PC version wasn't like the DS version. The little unit sprites and battle animations were fun and I found the story to be reasonably engaging. The level editor was fun to mess with; I loved building massive maps with every unit in the game and playing out massive battles. Plus I just found there to be more strategy; it still has the rock paper scissors elements but the jamming element gave you more options in battle; I prefer that to upgrading units prior to battle. I also enjoyed the large roster of units to mess with and all their unique strengths and weaknesses; no two units would ever perform the same in any given situation; what would work for one unit wouldn't necessarily work for another. I do understand your issues with calculating damage though; I never bothered and was just able to figure out roughly how much damage you would do based on the unit and its strength and weaknesses from how much I played the thing. I completed the JSF and EF campaigns dozens of times and the Spetsnaz campaigns three or four times; it was definitely a challenging game and that's something I enjoyed about it.

I played the single player options for this game. I loved it. I still have it for ps3 along with the original ps3 I played it on. I once tried to play online and was instantly annihilated 😂

Being inside tank after fallout makes sense. Hull protects from radiation and modern tanks have necessary abc protection, except I am not sure how they stop air from coming in through gun when reloading, maybe keep overpressure inside so air flows out not in.

I have fond memories of getting this along with Fallout 3 in my childhood.

Most confusing point if your character is a pilot why aren't you flying thr helicopter or plane in the last mission at least then you could have shot down to explain why you transfer to on foot. I could be wrong but i am surprised you didn't bring up the mission you kill the Americans to get the helicopter since it's a odd mission but still love the review you give

Yeah i got nostalgia for this game to the point i installed it the other day. With just the campaign mode its just a game with the voice novelty.

Replaying EndWar here. One of the things I learned is that the AI will only use its WMD if it detects three or more units bunched up in one place. That's why I spread my units and make sure no more than two are in the same group.

Another banger. I had such high hopes for the sequel but damn did it run like ass.

The plot of this game is as realistic as a unicorn on the way to the Last Supper! At some point, and I mean IMMEDIATELY, the North Korean troops will stumble over a tsunami wave of internet #corn anyway - and then? They will be so "distracted" that even a three-ton diabetic in his seemingly half-dead wheelchair will cruise & gives free drive-bys like he's the ghost of death!

Home front multiplayer was super fun back in the day damn

I remember pre-ordering this game and getting a shotgun. The product placement was suppose to make the game feel real...but yeah it can be jarring. Multiplayer was fun, wished I played more. If you are interested, I would highly recommend trying Freedom Fighters. It's more Red Dawn from 1984. Very good game.
