Fantastic work! I’ve been doing my own research on Boone traveling from the Forks of the Yadkin through the mountains to Sycamore Shoals; from Anderson’s Blockhouse to Kane Gap, Powell Mountain and Wallens Creek to Cumberland Gap. I just can’t seem to get enough. This man was one of a kind! The more I learn about him the more respect I have for him. I’m so glad you and all those with you were able to take this journey. I only wish I could’ve joined you. Keep up the great work...maybe one day we’ll meet out on that great Wilderness Road.

This was one of a two-part plan. Part 2 is a trip from St Louis Missouri to Boone lick in Missouri. This will take place as soon as we are able to get the funds we need to support it. Our last Expedition we were able to get $25,000, but it was barely enough. This time we want to make sure we're better funded.

Thank you for making this video! My great x5 grandfather, Bartlet Searcy was one of Boone's axemen. The more I learn about Grandpa Bartlet, the more I want to visit the places where he made history.
