Engine (1962 390) is out of the car, how would you check the water pump ? It looks like it was leaking. Supposedly the car lot drove.

hmm...what is high and low on the connector ? Is HIGH supposed to support the horn pad ? On mine, The white receiver part for the black connector was broken so I used super glue to rebuild it and try to get that "overhang" section in there to lock in the black connector by pushing down and turning. Horn is still ON.

Ik this video is old but if you happen to own any of these radios in your gm vehicles and you come across this comment, to switch the direction of the tape head for the cassette unit. Press the volume button. It will also recall what station your playing, and when the cars off it’ll display the time in your car for 3 or 5 seconds. I believe it also has a mode where you can stop the tape while still in the radio and go back to tuner mode if you just hit the stop and eject button halfway in, not all the way to trigger the eject mechanism. But I could be wrong. As my experience with this radio is limited

How far does it have to move for activation?

My 1965 Buick wagon would hesitate, like it wanted to turn off at round 40 mph. Also when I'd go up a hill, I replaced this fuel filter on my engine & it solved my problem. It even starts faster in the morning. Also there's a screw on the carb itself that can be adjusted for the idle, rev up the engine more or lessen it. Can be adjusted with small flat screwdriver, to your own specific need.
