It sounds like he's playing a cmaj7 on the 2nd fret (A string 3rd fret, D string 2nd fret, open G and B) and then moving that same shape to the first fret.

Archy leaves space for feelings in his music. Somebody that doesn't get his music may say it's slow, no it leaves room for contemplation, that beautiful eerie mood it evokes is something else.
