This man is a snake. He gives superficial confrontation explanations but does not identify the root of the power play using the zog US for world destruction and annihilation who's goal is not a security competition but armageddon and elimination of 2/3rds the worlds population and total destruction of Amelek or Esau, the west, and the US and Europe, the new Rome, for global conquest by the judeo supremacists globalists.

Great interview. Such a pity that at 5:04 seconds seems to be a cut, most probably a censorship, as the Professor makes example of China aggressive behaviour in international system (probably referring to Tibet) as he invite the interviewer to look closely to Chinese History.

This interviewer is the best example in the world that I've seen in today's environment on how an interviewer should conduct an interview! She is indeed a very intelligent interviewer! Bravo!!! She asks only intelligent and pertinent questions and she never inserts her own opinions but rather refers to other people's or experts' opinions, when necessary.

Mearsheimer's worldview is ultra-simplistic, based largely on a supposed zero-sum game between China and the USA, when the actual situation is much more complicated, given the emergence of major countries including India who is tipped to be the next China. Can US leaders really accept another great power with credible abilities to undermine US primacy in Indo-Pacific? They won't even tolerate serious economic competition from Japan, despite hailing it as a trusted ally. 🤫 The future geopolitical landscape will be volatile, pretty much beyond the control of either China or America, even though it is likelier that China will gain further global influence.

Western politicians don't believe in win-win cooperation, they believe in zero sum game. Probably the only way to avoid a hot war with the US is China must be a few times more powerful military than the US.

In this competition with China, the US plays the role of the Soviet Union. Spending too much on the military until its economy no longer can keep up. As for Mearsheimer, his facial features, which are very hawkish, tells you that this person's thinking is all about power politics. Might makes right.

11:36 John Mearsheimer knows better, first-hand, and is just lying. The US is doing everything it can to turn the people of Taiwan against China (Taiwan is legally a province of China), is installing an entirely US-operated government there, is arming Taiwan and aligning all neighboring countries to defend Taiwan against invasion, and is fostering a Taiwan independence movement that can and will declare independence from China at any time at the direction of the United States.

Not beating around the bush, Prof. Mearsheimer is most definitely a war hawk. I don't mind that in him, I understand what he's talking about when he talks about his theory and he has cut his teeth on showing his theory to often be the case. He's also a man defined (obviously) by the past century global conflict of the Cold War and as an American his interest is seeing his own country be on top of a new emerging conflict that has been shaping up around the world and namely the one with China. However, his perspective is always good to hear if not for anything but as a splash of ice cold water in your face, refreshing but painful.

This motherfucker's job is to literally manufacture consent for war between the US & China 🤣 Amazing anyone takes him serious, he literally said, "America will go to great lengths to to tell the Taiwanese (he hopes) no Taiwanese leader can declare independence..." while we continue sending weapons to Taiwan & after our Taiwanese Zelenskyy was selected to lead the Island 🤦🏽‍♂️

Chinese society has always been confucianism, meritocratic and secular, and Prof. John Mearsheimer happens to be elderly, knowledgeable, and thinking in practical terms instead of ideological ones, thus he can expect a great deal of respect in a Chinese culture setting.

Asia is basically divided into two camps, those in China's sphere (China, Koreas, Japan, Taiwan, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar), and those in India's sphere (India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, Indonesia, Malaysia)... these are where these two civilizations traditionally had sway and where they will naturally grow to dominate again if they get their acts together
