We didn’t stick around long. The plan was to catch the holiday train there at Arlington Heights but we went to Palatine after the first eastbound

6:57 was that the locomotive bell ringing? why would that one have been ringing? the locomotive was "pushing," so only the "front" cab car bell should have been on. 🤷♂️

The engineer when they were changing ends at Elburn might have forgotten to turn off the locomotive bell. There have also been times we’ve seen the mars, ditch, and/or headlights left on when the locomotive is in push mode

The night capture with the low lighting was difficult. It was a goal of ours to capture a VIA consist. Hopefully next time we’ll be able to capture one in daylight.
