My father still feels so emtional towards the fall of Dhaka. He actually cries whenever its brought up on TV. Love and apologies from Pakistan for being cowards to not stand against Yahya but trust me, the people of Pakistan they never hated you its the dirt politics and the Army which still plays with the people

The same applies to the partition of india.. I have heard from people how hindus and muslims bonded beautifully before partition.. How the activities of some antisocial s led to such bloodshed.. When we allow antisocial elements to lead us, only things like post partition violence happens..

I wish Bhutto had accepted Mujib’s right to govern and they both had sat down together to draft the constitution. But the lust for power is such a bad thing …

In 1971 During the nine-month-long war, members of the Pakistan Armed Forces and supporting pro-Pakistani Islamist militias from Jamaat-e-Islami killed between 300,000 and 3,000,000 people and raped between 200,000 and 400,000 Bengali women, in a systematic campaign of genocidal rape.

my mother always tells me how painful the fall of dhaka was. She always says that all of us here, in west Pakistanis were sad and angry because we all understood why mujid ur rehman and the Bengalis wanted independence because our forces and politicians treated them so badly. we are sorry about your pain. and just know that we pakistanis have the same sentiments as naseer turabi. May Allah always protect Bangladesh.

Dhaka didn't fall but actually Pakistan politically and militarily both way fall down and surrender in Dhaka but Dhaka didn't. It was the rise of Dhaka. Thanks almighty Bangladesh has been saved from colonial setup of Pakistan in 1971, otherwise Bangladesh would have been situation like as baluchistan or Afghanistan. Now Bangladesh become as a welfare state but Pakistan became as a leaderless self-destructive and a martial race nation. Now Pakistan became politically peralised. Economically bankrupt and militarily blunders. Its a multi organ failure of Pakistan. Its too late to make a change in the course correction in the DNA of Pakistan. Pakistan became as a legacy of British Colonial setup like as jaghirdar Panjabi ruling elites beurocracy army establishments and their good wishers. This all are created by colonialism and preserve by Pakistan for the last 75 years.
