Hi. You sound curious and excited about cybersecurity which is a good thing. There are plenty of MSPs(Managed Service Providers) who need employees to support their operations. However, they do look for experience. I guess if you maintain this level of curiosity and keep learning then finding a job should be possible. Part time jobs in IT are minimal and I would not keep my hopes on it.

Hi. Graduate roles are extremely limited in these fields. As a first step I would advise you to go on job portals and look for suitable job roles and its requirements. Then you will get an idea whether you will be a fit for those roles or not.

Hi. I would have continued my job at Amazon for atleast one more year before going to Ireland but if you are keen to go in this intake then DCU is a better option compared to NCI. Job prospects are good and I believe it will grow once Trump executes his plan on AI. Things will improve in next 2 years if everything goes well.

Very hard to say. Softwares sales is something which is good in Ireland but your experience is quite niche. Semicon sales will be big in Europe, if you can somehow combine sales from this industry with your electrical sales then it could be helpful.

Very hard to say brother. There are few agencies like Teagasc, Bord Bia who undertake sustainability related research. Research wise it is good but very hard to say for a job just based on a degree. You need to do some research in this field to be known in this industry.

Thank you for watching this video. I don’t think your experience will complement your degree to get a job in cloud computing but you are eager to learn which is good. If I was you, I will search for job roles that you want to apply for post studies and see the job requirements. Then you can take a decision. You can also consider studying Cybersecurity which is a good option. Sometimes IT Support and cybersecurity knowledge goes hand in hand.

I have viewed the job description of Cloud roles, as per my research, IT Support or any first line of support is expected to get into Cloud. Also, I support on a few of cloud based applications like Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Authenticator and CyberArk (PAM Solution). I thought of adding the above in my CV to show employers that I have exposure to support in cloud applications though I am not sure how much would my support role in cloud based applications make a difference. My last question is - Post Masters in Cloud Computing, if I am unable to secure a job in Cloud Roles, can I simultaneously apply for IT Support roles, would HR entertain a student who completed Masters in Cloud Computing but applying in IT Roles. Job market as a fresher in any domain is tough. I wouldn’t recommend to come in as a fresher in current scenario.

There are opportunities in this field. Plenty of IT service providers and cybersecurity companies in Ireland. You should be okay.

Life is extremely hard as a fresh grad almost everywhere. You will face a lot of competition from Indian students who have experience and Europeans as well. I won’t recommend you to come as a fresh grad if your sole objective is to get a job. If you wish to gain international exposure then its a different thing altogether.
