(Spoilers ahead, you've been warned) Did you know that in both this version of the game and in Mega man X2, if you use the Sonic Slicer on the Wire Sponge as a final hit even a charged shot, that you cut him in half before he blows up? The effect is better is the Mega man X2 game though. Likewise, if you use the Boomerang Cutter from the first game on the Launch Octopus, you cut off four of his arms stoping him from doing his cyclone draining attack, and if you use it on the Flame Mammoth, you'll cut off his truck. You must hit them three times for that to happen though. Also in the final battle with Iris and Duo, if you don't want Iris's brother to take her away after the battle, kill her first,(Her weakness is Rising Fire BTW) and she'll just lie there on the battlefield while you fight Duo. Also her death is better explained in the fourth game playing as Zero. Cool huh?

Amazing guide as always. Been using all your Megaman guides and the fact you use speed runner techniques but not to an extremely difficulty level makes these a bit of a breeze. Just have to do the last level on X7 then onto your X8 guide.

By interacting with the save point from the left, you shift the load zones to the right one pixel at a time. So after a bunch of uses, you can just walk over to the load zone on the left. But to stay in the ceiling, hold jump and left along with the bat button on the black screen between rooms. There is a much faster way to do this trick, though. Just do 4 or 5 save points from the left, then backdash off the right loading zone.

I'm glad you liked it. It's not "underrated" or anything, honestly seems like most people really liked it, but yeah I'm just happy it makes other people happy. I think the Illusion boss fights in the postgame and true arena are a lot of fun. Usually I can do everything in a Kirby game EXCEPT the ultra hard final true Arenas, but in Forgotten Land I actually did it.
