at first i had doubts about this but i finished these and continued reading, and its surpassed what i thought it would be hes powerful and feared without sacrificing respect and basic friendship like alot of the OP fanfics that make the mc an uncaring hardass that only cares about their own goals and embrace the pirate stereotype more unlike luffys adventure, i understand the character being more willing to kill and whatnot but they can still be generally friendly/cooperative, how they view roger usually tells in that area if they dont like him tgen they're probably gonna be a self centered dick if they like him or at least respect him and not focus on him creating a pirate era then its probably gonna be a decent guy this one is self driven but still respectable and generally friendly to people who deserve it
