Mixing red and green usually creates a brown or gray color. Adding white will lighten it to a softer, pastel shade.

Ooh! So red with a small amount of blue and white makes proper pink. I never get proper pink when i mix red and white

It was yellow with purple Purple is not a primary color (red and blue mixed) Red with yellow makes orange, yellow with blue makes green Green mixed with orange creates this color (green cancels out red so it looks muddy)
