I don’t have the Dyson/haven’t used it so I’m not 100%, but it uses the hot air & plates on this one

I believe that with the wet to dry function it blows hot air like the Dyson Airstrait but it has a dry function where the plates heat up like a normal straightener.

Can you please compare the wrap curlers on the flex style and the fusion? The current ones don’t work for me because my hair is heavy but I wonder if the news ones will work!

Does the air straightener part also get the roots? The Dyson one didn't and i sent it back because of that reason

You can hold the flat iron attachment together and direct the air flow to your roots.

Do you know if the flexstyle attachments work on the flexfusion? I had a round brush attachment I got separate from my set from Costco, and I had to return the flexstyle when it stopped working so I'm planning on upgrading to the flexfusion but is my old attachment useless now? 😢

According to shark, they do not, bc the fusion has an additional electrical component that the style does not have. Therefore, the attachments are not interchangeable.

When you use the fusion straightener does it straighten the hair using air or plates? I just want to use air but not sure if this tool uses both air and plates.

hi, thank you for watching! it uses air & heated ceramic. from what I could tell, it was a lot less hot than normal ceramic bc I could touch it easily without it hurting me
