Question: overheating of HX because of scale buildup isn’t relevant with this error?

Thank you for making the effort to post this video series. More detail would be helpful. For instance, in this video, are you indicating that the two leads to the air pressure switch should be removed while the unit is running, and tested as water is drawn from a tap? The still image in the video hints that the entire air pressure switch should be removed from the unit and bench-tested, which obviously isn't what you're wanting us to do. Further, why not just tell us what to look for on our multimeters? Are we looking for continuity as an indicator of the switch being 'on'? Thank you for any further clarifications!

I have a question regarding the Heat Pump setup. In setting the Stages you show a Fossil Fuel stage. Mine shows Electric and I don’t see a Fossil Fuel stage unless I am dual fuel mode. But I am only using electrical power. How do I set it up for electric stage and not fossil fuel? Thank you for your help, Harry

@tssassociatesinc5717 Page 43 within the BGH96 manual shows the BCC100 set to Fan Control: Appliance. In your tech sheet on your website under the IDS-BC100 w/ BGH96, page 3, you show Fan Control: Tstat. Which is correct and Why ? Thank you in advance.

We are able to delay the fan in minutes by not landing the Y wire on the furnace board and using the delay through the G terminal.

What is the setup for fossil fuel 2 stage heating and air conditioning?
@tssassociatesinc5717 Жыл бұрын
Please visit our website at tssassociatesinc.com/. Select the technical tab and then select wiring diagrams. After, select the brand of thermostat you are working with from the ones that are displayed and you will see the wiring and the programming for setting up one stage heat pump and one stage fossil fuel. Each thermostat programs differently. Let us know if this helps or contact us by phone!

@@richardschofield2201 I work on these nearly every day in the uk and never came upon a heat exchanger that’s cracked
@richardschofield22012 ай бұрын
@@paulbrown4850 funny you say that, when I wrote that message I was told by my gas engineer that the heating exchanger was cracked and basically I need a new boiler and it was a common problem. £3000 I think I was quoted. I wasn't happy. Started looking into what was involved with replacing the heat exchanger hence the KZbin rabbit hole. But the engineer said it wasn't worth the effort swapping. Got a second opinion as there were plenty of heat exchangers on eBay for reasonable prices. Second guy said these never fail and refused to believe it had a crack. Turned out the only issue was a blocked condenser drain pipe. It's been fine since. Shame that second guy retired. Knew his beans.
