I totally agree! Princess needs to do what they do best, smaller ships and great service. I (and many others) don't want what other lines are offering. Buffet was disappointing on the Crown but other food options were good. Salty Dog and Slice are on Lido. We don't eat in the dining room so I'm sorry I don't have recommendations for that. If you like seafood the Crab Shack is a specialty dining option offered at the buffet (they use a section) and it apparently has great options. @code4forlife is a KZbin channel that shows a bunch of the food Princess offers. Our next Princess cruise is December and we are hoping to do a better job of showing the food.

Yes! Not specialty but regular and decaf. Also at the buffet.

Ask as many questions as you'd like 😁 Water (not bottled), tea, the regular coffee and decaf, apple and orange juice at breakfast, and then sometimes an iced tea or lemonade.

The asparagus was with a risotto but I agree. The old menus had more choices. I stopped eating in the dining room because I don't like the options. We were just on the Jewel of the Seas for 13 nights and I couldn't eat plant based because I would have starved. Vegetarian was really hard even with many meals being repetitive. We are on another ship in a few weeks and we will be back in the dining room because my friend is celiac but I don't like half the food in the menu so I doubt I'll eat vegan for dinner.

Are you talking about pier 27 in San Francisco? Sorry there are a lot of cruise ports and I'm not super familiar with that one other than I have clients going there next year. It's not a common port for myself or clients. Every port I've been at had luggage drop off through so I'm guessing it will be the same there.

If I recall correctly this room only had 2 North American outlets. We used an adaptor because there weren't enough. For Princess I can but I think it has to be USD or Canadian. Other cruise lines I'm not sure. I book any destination but I know the most about Caribbean, Alaska, and Europe so I tend to book those.

It's a bit smaller than the Oasis but not much. I like the deck plan better than Oasis but it's still a much bigger ship than I personally like.

I feel the Royal class ships are amazing! We are currently booked for the Sky Princess and Discovery Princess. We have enjoyed the Grand class but they are smaller and a lot less food options at the buffet. The Royal class are newer and have an amazing buffet. Where are you looking to cruise to?

Lots of ship options for the Caribbean! I've been on Ruby Princess and Caribbean Princess there and that's where we are going on Sky Princess. I'm sorry it was such a bad experience! I'm so disappointed in this ship. We are on it for 21 days and it seems like the food will be boring. I don't need a ton of variety but for that long I don't want the same thing every day, especially as left overs!

@@travelingbeyondboundaries it was so bad that I had zero motivation to record for my channel. That never happened before. But with 21 days, the good thing will be the ports for seeing wonderful places and eating delicious local cuisine. The food in the pool area was great! We didn’t get to eat there much as it was cold, windy and rainy on some of the days. I hope things will be better by the time you sail. Have a safe and wonderful trip! 😊 BTW, I did a little montage of the foods we liked on my channel. If you’re able to do Spellbound, do it. It was good food, amazing drinks at the bar with bunch of fun tipsy people who will be excited with everything magic.

Thanks for watching! The app will show you where to go once on board. It can even direct you to it! Crew are happy to help as well. We've cruised enough with Princess that we tend to know where to go but the app is amazing for giving directions to places. For priority boarding, they will direct you once on board. It most likely is with the Platinum and Elite boarding group so look out for those signs. There should be signage saying Suite Guests. Have a great time on your cruise!

You don't need to buy bottled water, it's included in your package.

Nope, the 15 day limit is only for alcohol. All other drinks are unlimited.

Princess is one of the few lines that have them. They are so convenient, especially on longer cruises.

Thanks so much for sharing. We are sailing with Princess in December but I don't eat in the dining room so it will be interesting to see what my options will be. We have two cruises with Royal Caribbean before that (one I will eat in the MDR) and they always have vegan options easily, including desserts, even at the buffet. I saw Holland America has a lot of vegan options, even stuff like vegan crepes and pancakes! The food is honestly the thing that makes Princess harder for me. What ship were you on?
