It's been a very long time since I've been in that area. When my twin and I were tots, (mid 60s) we lived just up from the Hawk's Nest in a place called Monguap. (sp?) Our neighbor next door were the Schneiders. Back in the day, My Oma and Oma were the caretakers of a Girl Scout Camp called Camp Mogisca at Ambernest. The camp from what I understand got bought by a Church. Or so I've been told. If anyone has information about Camp Mogisca, please let me know. I wish we got to know Port Jervis. The only thing I remember about it was a bank.
