That is sooooooooooo much newer than our Hoot system. We just had our aerator pump serviced two weeks ago and, naturally, we're now getting a flashing red light in addition to the non-flashing green light. Strange stuff.

Did Sludgehammer happen to tell you about their new T filter that goes around existing outlet filter, especially for single stage tanks? They are actually donating these because of issues with filter plugging up so often with this type of setup.

Thought you would have used the Infiltrator drain system. The 3' half round covers. Far superior the the drain pipe which fills up the holes too quickly.

Too close to the house IMO. I would locate it in an area where it would be out of the way for any future construction. The house I am in now put the tank 6' away from the house even though the back yard is a full acre. Now, any additions in back will encroach the septic system. A few dollars in trenching and pipe would have been well worth the investment.

Since you didn't explain it in your video, I'll assume that in the State of Kansas, you have some kind of design and approval process. I know in my state of New Hampshire, the Department of Environmental Services or DES, has to approve all Sub-surface Wastewater Disposal Systems before the on-site installation of a Residential Septic System can be done. In fact, at the municipal level, usually a local code enforcement official from the building department or health department does a bed bottom inspection, and this is done before construction of the Disposal Area or Leaching Area. Obviously, this is in addition to pulling a permit and paying permitting fees. Lastly, a State Inspector from DES has to sign off on the installation of the system, before the homeowner can actually start using it. To be clear, from design and approval to permitting and installation, the entire process can easily take 6 to 8 weeks to complete... sometimes even longer.
