The storyteller does not even know or can explain what "unclean" means and assumes it is a deceased returning to haunt the living at least based off of his tale. Doesn't make any sense because "looj koov" and "unclean Hmong" has nothing to do with one another. One is not a product of the other or vice versa. Unclean does not automatically result in "looj koov" or a haunting after ones dies. Clean Hmong can and do haunt or "looj koov" the living as well even among boyfriends and girlfriends. Story tellers need to get their information more accurate or know the terms better versus implying nonsense 😅 Unclean Hmong are those with some kind of disease either genetic or hereditary. Hauntings or "looj koov" can range from anything such as a curse to acts of vengeance or simply blood vows that love birds did back then. It can also just be a restless spirit.
