Oh man I’m jealous you all got some snow! I’ve been praying for snow because it’s great for tracking deer, but so far we’ve just had rain and temperatures just above freezing. Do you feel better prepared this winter than last winter? Little Remy is so cute with the dinosaur jacket!

@@AxeAndAntler well today (Monday) all the snow has melted and we're back to mud and puddles everywhere! Temperatures are still hovering around freezing, but the ground isn't frozen yet. We feel we are somewhat ready for winter, maybe just know more of what we are expecting than last winter. Hopefully a bit better prepared....... Remy's coats are so adorable! Just a cool gift!

How many cords did he deliver? Do you have a utility sled to transport with? Perfect to move that stack where you need to. Remember to tarp the top courses of your stacks.

Awesome recipe! I took the advice from someone in the comments and added a little almond extract and that just made this recipe perfection. My husband is on his second glass and the syrup hasn’t even cooled.

This is something to be made when the apocalypse hits and all there is are scraps of materials to use. Instead of screws, fasten the wood by using thin strips of the plastic bottle tied around the joints, then heated to tighten up. Otherwise, with the grid still up, just get yourself $3 worth of plastic drop cloth for painting and you're done in minutes.

Only improvement/ suggestion is to get the actual barrel off the ground with blocks, rocks or something. I know if it’s in contact with the ground critters will tunnel under& create problems, but also every catchment system plans I’ve ever found hadsaid the container needs to be off the ground (without saying why). Otherwise, looks like a good starter system.

Thanks for the demonstration and I have tree limbs everywhere and I might make a mini scale one with small soda bottles just because I have a lot of them. Haha!
