I've been a fan for decades, but I do have a problem with their live shows. Last time I saw them, they played 1 hour 15 minutes, and that included some unnecessary cover versions. With a back catalogue like theirs, I would expect 2 hour shows and all ZZ Top material.

They're cracking on a bit now mate. Billy needs his cocoa and slippers.

@Dalwhat Maybe, but plenty of others manage to do it.

ZZ was never a great live band, not since the early 80s at least. They started doing pre-recorded performances back then to cover up their lack of live abilities to pull it off anymore. The "show" became more important. This show here - there's NO WAY Billy can play and sing that well any more, and it's not his fault - nobody beats father time. Enjoy the fact you get to see him in body.

First off, I think it is great for JT to come out and donate 45 mins of his time for N. Carolina. However, I feel bad for James, he just needs to sit on stage and narrarate one of his awesome concert DVDs. Why do folks who are done just stay done? I mean I love JTs music as much as anyone. Fire and rain was almost as bad as seeing Phil Collins in a wheelchair trying to get though his last Genesis show on stage. Sorry.

This is the strangest setup I've ever seen. All tables in front? These tables should have been placed behind the seating. Notice not many at these tables are paying attention to the band, just talking, eating and drinking. Bogus.
