10 years. I was introduced to this mix 10 years ago, and therefore, your other mixes as well. I've never truly forgotten them - every now and then I would listen to a few. But this year marked the 10th anniversary of when I got into Metal Gear, and, well, my first one was Rising. It was confusing as fuck, but it got me into the other games. As expected, I got so much into them, that it made me a bit less interested in Rising - I was all over Big Boss, Kazuhira Miller, Ocelot, etcetera... That I almost forgot about the one that really got me into it. About two days ago I decided to replay MGRR and... God, how bad I missed this game. Now I'm on a MGRR frenzy and can't stop talking and thinking about this game. I'm so happy to be listening to your mixes again, now as a 22 year old. Your mixes were a huge part of my teenage years and now they're fully back at my adult years. Thank you so much for having made these and shared them- and especially for keeping them up all these years. I know a lot happened then - there was a time with no comments, It Has To Be This Way was lost like, twice - but still they persist. I hope these are still up for the years to come. I like how Monsoon’s dialogue at the end of the fight changes depending on how well you do. If you’re just doing ok, he has some more typical Monsoon line, but if you kick his ass hard enough he just screams “STOP IT!” before you zandatsu him.

So IIRC, there was a glitch that could cause your character's gender to change upon entering NG+. This coffin was added because of that glitch. I don't know if this was a temporary solution that they left in after they patched the glitch, or if this was the "patch."

When it comes to his shields, Sundowner really is "in touch with his inner child." He is so proud of his new toys and keeps trying to show them off and brag to Raiden. The he loses his temper when Raiden breaks them.
