Dirk and James definitely have lifer vibes. James didn't leave last time, he was forced out. He might have still been in up to now through Ellefson's second run had that not happened. Dirk has already been in the band for eight (!) years and seems like he always has a blast.

Songs from Youthanasia & Cryptic writings requires high pitch vocal. In fact it has some of Dave best vocal performance. No way he could still sing songs like Disintegrators, Secret place, Vortex, Addicted to chaos , Train of consequences, Blood of heroes etc. Not even autotune can make him reach those notes.

I saw them just the day before in Macon, GA and they didn’t play it :( still a phenomenal show but I love this song and really wish I got to experience it live. First time they played it in 15 years.

Shawn was the most boring drummer Megadeth has had. Ironically, this was probably his best song. No shade toward any other Megadeth drummer, but Dirk is probably the best drummer Megadeth has had. He is a combination of Gar and Nick. Obviously, the both played on some of the greatest Megadeth albums, but I'm talking pure technical skill and feel, Dirk is in a class of his own. I hope he stays until Megadeth is done with music.

Venue held 8000 in seats, and 12000 in the lawn. The seats looked full, and there were a lot of people on the lawn. I would say over 10000 easy.

Was at this show and had never heard of The Warning really until that night. They were solid and this performance of Choke definitely resonated with me. Something about those high notes. Rooting for these kids and keeping an eye on them.
