Nah, it has nothing to do with being broke, it’s because wheels like that on a muscle car is like wearing Oxfords to play basketball, people are going to laugh or scoff at it, not to mention, how you gonna launch with those tires, there’s no traction whatsoever, unless you just like doing burnouts, and putting on a show, and there’s no cushion, it’s basically a hard rubber tire, you can see the car bouncing down the street, that’s hard on a car. Somewhere there’s a car for those big wheels I guess but, it’s not a high performance Chevelle.

It’s not your car, so if you’re not a fan, and you’re not broke then go buy one, build it your way and you’ve got nothing to complain about but shaming another person for something he likes and can afford is wild too me and funny as previously stated…I understand the comments and I get their perspective…never said I would put them on my car but it’s not my car and I didn’t buy it so to each their own but I wouldn’t shame this man for his build if I didn’t like it I’d simply buy my own and build it to my liking!!

@@chaisecraft384 has nothing to do with being broke when you have a fast car you need to have bigger tires to allow traction. Go look it up. Watch some KZbin. Educate yourself. If you're going to build a race car, then you should build it correctly. Not build it like a clown and not have it built correctly. Secondly, having the correct tires with significantly increase his run times on races and safety and so forth. You really don't know anything

@tahasultan yes, you would want big tires on a race car that’s common sense!! But considering that’s not the purpose this guy built the car, i really don’t know what you’re getting at. Just because a guy puts a big block in a vehicle doesn’t make it a race car. Far from it. Do you see a car with drag radials? Do you see the car stanced for racing? Do you see a parachute or roll cage? Do you see a giant blower out of the hood? How about nitrous bottles anywhere? Charge pipes out the hood? Fat turbos for headlights? Tell me what made you think…race car? It’s a 71 and considered a classic car due to the fact that it is 53 years old bud!! Some build them to race, this guy didn’t!! Some keep theirs stock and in mint condition, do you consider that a race car? The point is HE wants those wheels on HIS car, that is HIS style, practical or not, it’s HIS style. If you don’t like it and CAN AFFORD to do so then go buy the same one and build it to your liking!!!! Now please educate yourself and use context clues next time! Cause ive never raced and i dont know anything about cars.😢 If it’s not your style cool but stop hating man.
