It does look that way doesn't it?, but as far as I know it was used for processing maple sap. The owners refer to it as the sugar shack, and said that's what it was used for long ago. The raised part as far as I know is ornamental, but I will explore it more in a few days when I go there to mow again. It's possible it was used for dual purpose for work and chapel, such as many schools were in small chapels long ago.

@@soloman4547 Yes, it is possible that the demographics of the area included a lot of manual labourers and the person or a group of different persons they worked for built it . I live not far from the oldest church in my part of the north island of New Zealand. There are sketches of it when it was built that look very much like that building . One of the farms I worked on as a kid had staff quarters that was the family chapel in the late 1800's. They called it "the bachelors bunk" It had a large window on the end away from the door and no other original windows.

@ell-00 It was funny this am, as I Googled first to see if I remembered that quote right that you posted before, and in doing so, I saw a bunch of posts from guys asking if that really works on women lol. I suppose approaching a gal and offering her a piece of cheese could fascinate her for a bit. She'd be like; " Um?, huh?, thank you?? Hmm?"... as she quickly dashes away lol. @@ell-00 I can understand why women may want to pay separately, especially for the first date or so etc. I imagine it's so nothing is expected or deemed owed perhaps. I think in these modern times with dating sites and such, a first meet should always be something low key like a tea/coffee/hot chocolate meet and a chat etc. Actually, I learned that really fast the last time I ever tried something like that lol, which was around 2011. But as far as taking your gal to dinner at a nice restaurant, the guy should pay, or at least that's how I'd feel and want it. Also, because I would only ever be doing a dinner or something like that for someone I'm truly interested in, not just a first meet or so etc. I wonder how a woman would react to a block of cheese on any of the early dates let alone the first hehe😂 Well, I got the cheese part covered lol. @John_RDR45 The guitar I'm using right now is just a worn-out, crappy, and hard to play epiphone. I like Les Paul's as well, but I want to get a PRS or some kind of super strat with a more curved neck radius, like around 8.5 or so. Anyhow, rock on 🤘 🎸 🎶

I think maybe because there was a band called Angel from the USA in the 1970's. So that may be why The Angels were named Angel City over here. Anyhow, loved this song and Face the Day when they came on the radio way back when, they rock! 🤟🎶🎸
