Thank you for including the Blessed Virgin Mary, God’s greatest Masterpiece! She is our mother too as Jesus gave her to us from the cross. But you got something wrong. It’s a traditional held believe from the time of the apostles that Our Lord appeared to His Mother first at the very first hint of light that day of His Resurrection, not Mary Magdalene. He would never delay in consoling His Mother. He obeyed the 4th Commandment perfectly.

He also argued that people shouldn’t be forced to sell their labor, which is to say, he believed in a free market from which there is a ready egress. What exists today is completely antithetical to Smith’s conceptualization of capitalism.

I never understood these deadly duels in history. If I was challenged to a duel, I would just cheat, & turn around first & shoot. What would be the penalty of doing that? It’s a 50-50 chance you’re gonna lose. Why not I make it 100% chance you’re gonna win. What are consequences? Their “Dueling Association of America” will penalize & fine you?

@ it doesn’t make sense Hamilton fired his first shot in the air assuming that Burr would “know” that he (Hamilton) was not going to really Duel. But then they both did all the troublesome of getting in boats, and rowing across the Hudson River to NJ. Even though you can see Jersey from Manhattan, it’s no quick row. It’s hard to imagine somebody getting in the boat, row across the Hudson River, but then not really wanting to duel, and the other is supposed to know this. This whole thing makes no sense.

What's with the "ewww" after taxes? As a (US) history buff or an economist you should realize countries cannot function without them. Nor would the US hold the position it does in the world today without federal income tax.
