Bravo! Bravo ! Encore, Encore! The Fabulous Tenor should be the Center-Piece of this video. Constant slides showing other shows represented, in my view, a lack of respect for this amazing Performer -- and for the you tube viewers. With all due consideration, a link for a Vídeo regarding Madison Opera Shows would be more effective -- affording, full-time, the Center Stage to this great Artist.

Hello to all of you fine voices of the Madison Opera. Congratulations for this great work. I find odd that your video up to date doesnt have a lot more views, it reaaaaly deserve more. And what a responsability i feel to write a first comment. I got here searching for different depictions of this aria, and yours is one i enjoyed a lot. Great creativity, great voices. mix the solemnity of the opera with the passion and fun you probably had while doing it. Great assembly. This piece is really something i would like to sing with that quality someday. Compelled to say i loved the pans, the one with the reflections, the bottles, the wine, the short dancing, the home-hammers, and that thing i cant recognize which is red and triangle-shaped. Blessings.

I performed in that as one of the church boys!! Honestly it was really fun, great experience joining it as part of myc. This show really inspired me to keep acting because ive always liked the idea of it but never saw it as a career until this show. Anyways thanks again for giving me a great time and inspiring me to grow up to do something i love.

Please note composer/librettist Miguel Bulteau of Portugal. I had the privilege of doing some vocal demos for his opera "Majora's Mask." Miguel's writing may remind one of the opera composer: Hector Berlioz. One may watch Mr. Bulteau actually composing live via a full opera score on KZbin during certain hours.

Fellow Travelers, premiered in 2016, is an opera with music by Gregory Spears and libretto by Greg Pierce. It is based on the 2007 novel by Thomas Mallon. Surely this basic information could have been posted? (The same novel was of course the source for the later 8-episode limited TV series on Showtime, starring Matt Bomer and Jonathan Bailey.)

Karen might be the wig designer, but Kelly Zipperer is the hairstylist who actually did all the wigs. Check them out when you're at the opera. She did an amazing job.

Wow she's very full of herself, she's not an independent woman she comes from a family of privilege, including Kenneth Biller he made lots of money off of filing fraudulent government reports and ruining lives, no one in that family is kind.

Can’t say for sure it’s inherently my fave opera, but it has given me at least two or three of the most powerful & stunning moments of theater in my life - in both LA & Milan.

What a splendid performance! What a moving song! The emptiness of the theater is so eerie. Why doesn't Madison perform a Hoiby opera. He's from Stoughton, after all -- went to UWM, product of their great post-war music department. Madison Opera ought to consider his Tempest, or even the unproduced Romeo and Juliet.
