it is hard to compare cause Got7 missed 1 member that get injured and you can see that everything was practised for 7 people, so we miss some vocals and dance from JB... also the video don t compare the same chorus version. But i still prefer Got7 version, more free when BTS follow the original choreo perfectly, more mature too and i love that they use the outfit in Shinwa mv 💚 both group did a great job😊

I love both groups and they did great! In terms of precision BTS is definitely on point. While GOT7 seems to be more fluid in their movement, and I find their costume enhance the sexy movement, compared to BTS’s monochrome outfit. GOT7 is the most versatile kpop group and this is not hating on BTS because this is a general idea. GOT7 have a great RNB foundation from Jay B and Yugyeom and can do powerful ballads thanks again to Jay B and the rest of the vocal line. The amerithaikong rap is the most unique in kpop and if you listen to God has return you know they can spit bars given the creative freedom which JYP deprived them for years but GOT7 also made a conscious effort to try out different genres like edm, rock, pop, hiphop, retro and ballad which I think not a lot of kpop groups have done and did well in all genres. In hindsight because GOT7 can blend in so well most kpop listeners dismiss them for not having a single concept it makes people think that they boys don’t have an identity as GOT7 like we would if we expect a comeback from Blacpink or english singles if BTS. It is GOT’s strength but also somewhat of a course given the company they debuted with.

People saying that bts performance was older but bts didnt debut in 2014 either. To me, this just shows that in terms on dancing and vocals for this song, got7 members did better. For vocals, I can hear got7's voices more clearly and they sound more powerful and stable as well, and tbh youngjae is a standout too. In terms of dancing, they are much more fluid in their movements, bambam and jinyoung are just so good with this type of song. Here, I'm not even talking about charisma or stage presence. GOT7 also did this with the absence of jaebeom who is also a main vocalist and whose dance/stage presence is insane

Tho I am an ahgase I am proud how BTS has improved over the years, now their voices are more stable. And Boy GOT7 kings of performance😩🔥 they slay every and each song(from debut till now), they were even doing it without JayB but still slayed it, the vocals the dance the facial expressions are top notch. Youngjea's vocals are no joke respect and stan my men!!!!!

i think got7 did this better simply because the song fits them more. it doesn't necessarily mean bts aren't as good or that they did poorly, they did great too if you ask me! but some groups suit certain styles more. it just so happened that got7 fits this one. i wish people would understand that those two ideas aren't mutually exclusive.
