I'm 61 now and I find myself reflecting on all the mistakes and missed opportunities in my life. If only I knew then what I know now. We all need to learn from our mistakes and try to be a better person.

I went looking for your channel today and found it so I can watch your videos and look at your shots because they are so amazing! And your stories, wow so relatable. You paint a beautiful picture. Your brand is on point too. How did you find your brand colors? They are striking because I was able to find you in a list of subscribers from your profile pic alone. Teach me your ways 🙏🏾

This is amazing. I always took pictures and videos of someone else. My kid, nature, my cats...but never me. I hate watching me. But now that you said that - "document your life" - I suddenly realized - why not. This is for ME. No one else needs to see. THANK YOU!!!

Oh my dear Art, speaking from a place of an overcomer, the thing you focus on the MOST is what you get more of. Put down your big stick, seek out grace. It is available all day everyday. You may know where to find grace, if you don’t, just ask grace will show up. 💝

I have found since being diagnosed less than a year ago (middle aged adult), I have struggled with it more than ever. It was one thing always suspecting and self diagnosed, but then knowing really changed things, seeming to make things worse. When I mess up I now know exactly why, I can blame that, and then I get down on myself because that thing is me that is being blamed. Then I feel like because I know, trying to work around it or with it only makes things worse. Like I'm trying too hard, versus just going with how things were before the diagnosis. I'm still gripping with it. Especially the meds part. They help, but the doc visits are expensive, AND considering I've already spent most of my life with it undiagnosed, do I really need it? So yeah, I'm still working it out. And ADHD worked pretty good back in the day, not so much today with our overly time constrained schedules. ADHD is a time problem. You know what you should be doing, you just can't plan properly to get around to doing it.

I totally get where you're coming from. It's like once you have that official diagnosis, it's a whole new ball game. Suddenly, you have this label and it feels like everything you do is being judged through that lens. It can definitely mess with your head and make you second-guess yourself

I struggle a lot, specially during times when I really want to create something, but somehow my whole body just don’t respond. It’s the constant tug and pull within myself then ending up losing most of the time, it’s exhausting.

I feel you there. It's genuinely a huge hurdle to get those things done

I’m having so many epiphanies right now. I love making YT videos, but often it just doesn’t have the high stakes that YT creation probably needs. Yes, my family life is heavy and takes so much of my time, but my brain needs a real deadline (but then flexibility too when our life is genuinely in a state of emergency). I miss having clients, a set time to shoot and deliver, structure provided by the client’s need. I’m trying to find ways to get that structure back without rebuilding a business that may not work with my family’s needs and it’s been so, so rough. Also, decision fatigue with choosing YT episode topics or a channel topic at all, it’s a serious struggle.

Honestly, I should get tested for it too. It feels like i'm making life a lot harder than it has to be. Physical activity and being creative in some way are the only things really helping me cope.

Great videos. I'm kind of binging them now. If you're using DaVinci resolve, press Alt + Click on the audio clip and it will allow you to add automation points on the audio track so you can duck audio to hear the narration track better.
