It’s definitely scary to get into. For me watching gameplays where they iterate on the deck between games helped make it feel less daunting (would recommend Savzj’s vids). Do you have a favourite card, you could start from there 😊

I think mob song is not very good and can be a brick in your hand most games. I think grab your swords is much more versatile and accomplishes generally the same thing, sometimes even with a higher ceiling vs mob song

idea for the next lorcana set name: scar's reign features: new scar characters, new hyena characters even we all want it since shenzi, and all new characters from the disney movie tarzan, to fit the whole wild animal thing

Great round up of the lore! One thing I also noticed is that around Ursulas neck next to the shell is a Ship wheel and a Cannon. We know the lost boys stole a ship wheel and the cannon is synonymous with Hook (who see entangled on the Illumineers Quest box) I wonder if part of the contract referenced on the sea witch card is with him?

That's such an interesting details. Great catch! I hope we see some explanation or clues on the cards from this set. Interested in all the entangled cards in the IQ box. Right now I feel there is a lot of characters the contract could apply to.

the first chapter starterdeck with wizard mickey and moana on it is pretty good i think. not extremly competitive as it is not focused enough but thats all starterdecks i guess. maybe do some netdecking and see what other people built?

You can place them below/above the location when they are there. I haven't seen a consistent placement yet.:)

This combo is definitely really difficult to pull off but I applaud you for trying! The 2 cost Kuzco in Amethyst is also a King and can be used with the Pride Lands as well, which makes the combo SLIGHTLY easier to pull off since you get access to a second target for the Location and could at least get some card draw if Kuzco gets banished. =)

Really difficult no….impossible in actual competitive game lol could be something in set 4 or 5 with new card helping it out but with the current state nah lol but also nice to see a combo that can go from 0 to 20.

I would being this to locals for something fun and casual and to catch people off guard. Also Yzma and Ursula’s cauldron are not that great like others were saying Kuzco is much better Prince Phillip is decent too. You can also throw in Mufasa so that way you can potentially get the combo sooner if you’re lucky.

Yes! You can use any future sets too. (The starter decks actually include cards from previous sets as well)

Hi, i stumbled onto ths vid and decided to leave some notes. 1. I would recommend the Pawsicle draw engine, with Havershims, Pawsicles, and If its not Baroque. Your main heals will come from Items. (Side note, coconut is not good here as you cannot control when you heal well, like after combat). Also add Fish Bone Quills for the ramp, its safer. 2. The Ruby side should be a bit more control so you can stall until you have 7 ink and Pabbie to start the combos. So maybe Madam Trumane, Be Prepared, and Teeth and Ambition are good. 3. Keep up the good work.

Thanks, I really appreciate this. Pawsicle is a great idea, seems like it works with everything Sapphire. I will re-try this idea with set 3, maybe with Amber.

@@JustUnCase you're welcome. Also, I would not recommend Amber right now. Maybe the new Amber Cards will solve my problems but right now Amber and Sapphire do not have good removal or tempo control. To hit 7 ink and set up a board to heal and combo off of without cards to slow down the opponent is hard. I tried. Stick to Sapphire Ruby until we see how new Amber is.

You said max Color combo is 2; does that mean you can do mono colours if wanted?

That is exactly right! You can legally play mono decks, however you would (currently) always benefit from adding at least a few cards from another colour at competitive plays.
