Ive just done this, Had a massive G clamp on my rivet gun to pop them rivets cos im weak. A massive thanks for downloading this vid though. Next time im taking it to a garage as it was a real pain.

This happened to my vauxhall combo van cable snapped so I tied ABIT off able wire to the latch under the hood and to open the hood all I had to do was give the cable a gentle Hank upwards and it would pop open

To help threading that bunch of cables through the "bellows" on the leading edge of the door when refitting, tie a 12 inch length of string around the wires behind the connectors after removing the bellows. Then when refitting thread the string through the bellows and gently pull the string to help the wires back through.

does anyone happen to have the wiring diagram for a UK version of the 450? i have a cdn 450 and the lights in the front grill aren't fog lights, it doesn't even allow DRL's... the two lights inside the headlights on the UK cars that act as indicators are just dummies on my car. on the light stick, there is a setting for fog lights, but obviously it doesn't do anything. inside the car there is a connector that looks like it might be able to connect to the indicators lamps - there is a light bulb fixture (twist and turn) but it's been cut and sealed off. hoping it can do a bit of wiring to allow for fog lamps and move the signals up to the headlights. even a picture of the wiring going to the indicators would be helpful.

Just did mine but the motor is turning the wrong way. The wipers are going into the engine bay instead of going up towards the window. Trust me to receive a faulty one. Thanks for the help though :P

You don't need to replace it just take the back off the switch split the switch in half & clean it with scourer pad it's because the grease goes old & forms a dark layer on the tracks preventing connection
