I had a dream once that was very long about a new game IP. A plot twist like hallway through was that the IP wasn't actually new, but a part of the Max Payne series (which IRL I've never played) Anyway, for some reason, a significant amount of the dream going forward was of reloading a pistol in first person VERY slowly over and over again after firing only one bullet...

Also, don't worry about the Strength Mode thing: Power Mode in Crysis 2 is also red and triggers whenever something that requires it happens, like a Power Punch or Power Sprinting.

Not really, Crysis: Legion establishes that it's still another mode consciously activated by the wearer a la Cloak and Armour, the in game contextual application of Power is a concession, albeit not a non-canonical one. Alcatraz even complains about how - due to the suboptimal conditions in New York - it's a pipe dream using Cloak, Armour and Power at the same time.

@@dutch_asocialite Umm... I don't think that's contradictory. Alcatraz turns Power Mode on whenever he needs it and turns it off whenever he doesn't. Crysis: Legion, as a novel, allows the Nanosuit to do many things that would be impractical in the games, like having levels of Armour, Power, and Cloak. Also, Crysis: Legion is complicated in terms of canonicity. Crysis 3 establishes that Alcatraz's personality matrix was corrupted beyond repair by the final Ceph spire, whereas Crysis: Legion has him gradually merge with Prophet over the course of the book. I think, on the whole, Crysis books are a lower level of canon than the games, so if the book says one thing and the game says another, the game is probably right. Which is a shame, because Crysis: Legion is great and deserves a sequel.

@@jel00ns28 I've never thought it was that useful, to be honest. I think the only real reasons people liked the radial suit modes over the consolidated ones were nostalgia and the fact that the Crysis 2 and 3 suit modes were kinda nerfed.
