1D minecraft is not 1 dimensional as there is variation in the Y axis.

it is not really 1D Minecraft because it would have no textures, it would just be 1 solid color. because it had a texture stretching across to the 2nd dimension it is not 1D it is 2D :P

I doubt you'll see this but I would like to give you or anyone else reading this comment a few things to think about. First, that wasn't recreating Minecraft in four different dimensions but rather in four different numbers of dimensions. There were four different dimensions in the four dimensional version, and any one of those Dimensions would have sufficed as a one-dimensional version. Next, consider the inconsistencies. If you had represented the one-dimensional version and the two-dimensional version in the way that you represented the three-dimensional version, they would have both included a depth of view, or distance from the screen. In the one-dimensional version that would mean that you would only be able to see one block at any given time. Now imagine if you had done the three-dimensional version the way you did the four-dimensional version, having one of those Dimensions act as if the player is sliding between visible layers of the next lower dimension. That could look something like the way you did the two-dimensional version, except that you could basically slide between different two-dimensional versions. There's more to it than that, but like I said I'm just encouraging thought. Now imagine if you had done the four-dimensional version in the way that you did the three-dimensional version, rendering only those three dimensional surfaces which would be visible to the player from their current position, in all four dimensions, rather than rendering two-dimensional surfaces of a three-dimensional slice of a four dimensional world. In case you're not familiar with the concept, the Pythagorean theorem can be generalized to any number of dimensions such that the distance from one point to another is equal to the square root of the sum of the squares of all perpendicular directional vectors which add up to the vector between those two points. I hope someone will find the exploration of these considerations to be worth trying to do something with. -- DAK

The 1D one is not 1D BC first it have 2D texture and second when you break blocks the blocks is not same hight as the blocks thats not broken and third the inventory.

The 1d minecraft that you made isnt 1d its 2d. Its bc if you have a line, and you need to display something, it does not gonna have other colors. It will only have 1 color.
