So sorry for the passing of Sally Kellerman. And thank you for sharing this video of her singing jazz. Dave Ross’s band was having a great time as they worked seamlessly through some spots where lyrics were replaced with scat singing. The whole set just warmed my heart. I applaud the simplicity, dedication and humanity that David Ross brings to the jazz community. I’m going to come up to the the Thursday night Jazz Salon at the Los Angeles Athletic Club as often as I can. (And that’s a big commitment coming from Long Beach on the 405 fwy)
