I’m so frustrated, I’ve watched so many videos and doing the cut off with my tongue. My duck call doesn’t even sound remotely similar, the tone coming out of mine is substantially deeper and cartoony. I have no clue what I’m doing wrong

So what do you recommend for a guy who’s practicing in his truck for a month before season? Like I don’t keep them on the dash but down in my console. Is there a good way to keep them stored in your truck or do I need to do all that every time I put it in my mouth? How can you keep them from sticking day to day between practices
